West Pearland Tire & Auto - (281) 485-9298

I have taken my vehicle to West Pearland Auto & Tire on several occasions over the past few (4 - 5) years for mainly automotive work, i.e. water pump, starter, etc... & they have always been fast, professional and responsive. I am about to take my truck in for them to check an intermittent brake light warning and a noise in my front tire area (could be brake pads? or caliper?)... I am hoping to follow up this review with another positive experience as I have moved to the Brazosport area and have a repair shop across the street but would rather have the job done right at a location I trust than to risk the many other shops that are more likely to offer questionable service or unfair prices.

These people were negligent with several of the services they were to do on two of our vehicles. The first one was regarding a new battery that I purchased from them. When it was four months old, I got stranded because of the installation of the battery. I called road side service and a friend of mine(her husband came with her). He was furious when he saw the cause of my car not running....the road side service person showed him two very bad battery cables and CORROSION on the battery and cable. West pearland tire and auto just put the bad cables back on the new battery and did not clean the corrosion or apparently even look at the cables (two of them). The other negligence was more serious, causing me to nearly have an accident, the third ruined the engine..I also was told that things had been done, which had not. I guess with the negligence was incompitence, or just complete apathy!!!! I tried to contact the owners with no succes.

There have been no returns to our shop because of the wrong fluid being put in a vehicle. Looks like a competitor is trying to stir up something. Always consider the source before taking these reviews seriously.
